PRETREATMENT FOR STEEL AND ALUMINUM PRIOR TO PAINTING: GF ACID CLEAN 72 is highly effective as a paint bond. As it removes surface soils and oxidation and deposits a light
phosphate coating. The coating gives aluminum and steel a superior base for good paint adhesion.
GF ACID CLEAN 72 can be applied by wipe-on or dip method. No heating is required. Product should be used at room temperature. GF ACID CLEAN 72 is nonflammable. Before using this
product, wear all personal protection equipment such as rubber gloves, chemical splash proof goggles or face shield, rubber or plastic apron and rubber boots. Where applicable, use appropriate
respirators (refer to MSDS).
